Whether a project is about new or existing buildings, individual buildings or entire districts, the DGNB system is based on a uniform evaluation method that takes all aspects of sustainable building into account, also allowing for adjustments to match individual types of buildings or different requirements.
All schemes benefit from the advantages of lean system processes. The scheme most frequently used is "New Construction Offices", which currently encompasses 37 assessment criteria broken down into six areas of activity.
