Sports halls have a number of special features compared to other types of buildings. This applies in particular to their subsequent use, which should be taken into account in the planning stage in the interests of sustainability. Accordingly, the DGNB System for Sustainable Sports Halls addresses the various concepts behind the various forms of sports hall operation.

The DGNB System Version 2020 International is not yet available for this scheme. However, DGNB Auditors with German language skills can combine and adapt the full range of current German schemes with DGNB System Version 2020 International in order to certify other building types.
