DGNB official partner in China. Strong brand in international market
Stuttgart, June 2012. The DGNB(German Sustainable Building Council) System is advancing successfully in the international market. The DGNB System standard is being used in the planning and implementation of projects in the Sino-German Ecopark in Qingdao, China, which is currently under construction. The DGNB recently signed a statement of intent with the Chinese representatives of this ambitious project. In the statement, the Chinese signatories strongly recommend that all investors and decision makers apply the DGNB System to the buildings under their purview. more

Opportunities for the Built Environment - Consense featuring attractive program. International trade fair and congress, June 19 – 20 in Stuttgart
Stuttgart, May 2012. The German Sustainable Building Council GeSBC (DNGB - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) will treat visitors to several premieres at Consense 2012. On the evening before Consense opens, the first World Green Building Night will offer a fitting ambience for the launch of the international trade fair and congress, which will be held in Stuttgart from June 19 to 20, 2012. In addition, the World Green Building Council (World GBC) will hold its annual conference as part of Consense. The beginning: The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) was founded in Stuttgart on 25 June 2007. In an effort to promote sustainable building, the Council resolved to develop a certification system to honour particularly environmentally friendly, economically efficient buildings that conserve resources and have been optimized in terms of user comfort – the DGNB Certificate. 120 members attended the DGNB kick-off event in Berlin in January 2008; by June 2011 this number had grown to over 1050. more
